Why take this course if there is a lot of free online content for ClickUp?
Although there are ClickUp tutorials for free online, many by ClickUp itself, my course puts all the pieces together and bridges the gap from project management systems to the needs of an online design business. I’ve watched countless hours of these videos to learn how I can harness the power of this app and adapt it to my process. More importantly, I’ve tweaked and experimented even more hours to find the sweet spot for my studio to run without me. Allow me to spare you the time, confusion and frustration by teaching you how to build ClickUp to work with your business!
Can’t I just figure out how to create my own project management process by myself to run my business?
Certainly! That’s what I did. However the time investment tends to be immense, confusion ever-present, and not to mention trying to keep up with the rapid growth of online applications. What my course will do for you is save you the time and frustration by teaching you the essentials of building your best, custom, project management system so you can get back to your zone of genius and stay there, at least for the majority of each workday.
What if I needed a project management system as soon as yesterday?
The course includes a Quick Start module teaching how to implement my process asap for those in a time crunch. This includes the template downloads and quick videos to put everything together in just a few hours.
What if I’ve never tried ClickUp?
Don’t worry! ClickUp can be a very robust app but the beauty is in how customizable it is. And simplicity is engrained at my core, so I won’t be overwhelming you with all the things you can do with the app (you can do that on your own time). Instead, my course focuses on what is essential. Less is more in design, as you know ;) With that said, I will have recommended resource links included so you can explore more features and take what you learn from this course to the next level, if you desire and find the time.
Should I have SOPs or team members for this course to be worth it?
Not at all! In fact, if you haven’t reached that point yet and hope to do so in the future, this is an excellent time to work on your project management system! You’ll learn through action and writing out your workflow what SOPs you will need, and when you are ready to bring on a team member, you will both be relieved at how easy the onboarding process will be!
Will my clients be overwhelmed by ClickUp if I add them?
Not with the right approach, which I am here to teach you! I personally jump at every chance to keep my clients out of my inbox and ClickUp has been the most organized and easy solution I’ve worked with thus far. I’ll teach you how you can set up your projects and invite clients so they don’t have to see everything that’s under the hood, and at the same time allow you and your team to view and manage as many details as you need. And hey, sometimes clients are set in their ways. Don’t worry, I’ll show you how to best use ClickUp to still keep up with client emails and spare you the overwhelm.
Will ClickUp replace other systems I use like Dubsado or Honeybook?
Actually, no. ClickUp is a project management system, and apps like Dubsado and Honeybook are client relationship management systems. The key difference is ClickUp will host your projects, tasks, notes, and any other project-related information, while your client management system will keep track of leads, invoices, automated responses, and more. I will teach you how to work with your client management system in conjunction with ClickUp.
What if I don’t have a process or workflow for my services?
If you don’t have a process or workflow set for your services, then you will by the end of this course! I’ll show you how to map your workflows, identify which services you need processes for, and how to adapt ClickUp based on what you planned!
What if I know ClickUp and have been using it for some time, what will I get out of this course?
